Can anyone please tell me what air intakes will fit on my 07 Big dog k-9 super g carb that will breathe better than the stock but won’t break the bank ( less than $500)
I called S&S and they had no answers for me other then to call each air cleaner manufacturer to see if it will work with my bike. Thanks in advance for any and all info

Check revzilla. They have some super g covers. Might find what you are looking for

There are a lot out there and it generally boils down to look. I generally go with Performance Machine and they seem to hold up very well and can be had at most of the bike parts suppliers.

For clean traditional look, I like and use the S&S "Slasher" tear drop type air cleaner cover. It's the one with the air slots cut out. Around $125.00 ~ $150.00. Or for the $500.00 you are willing to spend, I'd look into a S&S dual runner...

Old thread but gonna throw my 2 cents in. New to me bike with spike. Couldnt get mid range to run smooth. Stumbled and bucked 2500-3500 rpm. Tried everything. The a/c was off so I thought wth....took it around the block. A whole other bike!. No stumble just smooth power. Gotta a stock cleaner on the way. Spikes look cool, but the new bike does not like them. If ya pay attention to the guru's (John Sachs, etc), they will tell you the spikes for the most part rob you of HP. I believe them.

I agree with you about those spike ac's, but you don't have to go back to the stock ac for good performance. There are some ac's our there that perform as good as they look. The S&S dual runner and the forcewinder are both excellent flowing ac's. At certain rpm ranges, they will flow more air than no ac at all.

If you like the stock ac, you may want to consider installing the 3" element which will flow a bit more air at high rpm.

I agree with ya mleach72...I like the s&s dual runner i have it on my blue bike...works fine and looks descent....it was actual made for a fuel injected bike but i put it in my mill and end milled the slot over so the air port wasnt covered up...i bought it super cheap so that why i did what i did to make it work....performs good with no issues...

Yeah John the stealth is a good one also...i got several s&s tear drop cleaners so i put them on the other 2 bikes...i dont know maybe its just me but i like those s&s tear drop cleaners the best of all of them....just a simple good clean look

Oh I know there are some decent flowing ac's but they aint always cheap. NobbyJohn hooked me up with an OG BDM cleaner for shipping...how can you say no? Thanks again Vernon! This will get me down the road to the other a/c's

Update: Stock a/c on. Runs exactly as it should. Zero stumble. Now to change that pesky fork seal.
