Air filter in heavy rain....

The sock has very limited effect in my situation. I've compounded the problem by running without a front fender. Until or unless I decide to reinstall the front fender, or never again ride in the rain (unlikely), I am reinstalling the S&S tear drop air cleaner. The Forcewinder is bad ass, but useless whenever the pavement is wet.

In my situation, water sprays up from the fender-less front tire. The bottom of the air cleaner is my weak spot. I'm currently digging the simplicity of the teardrop cleaner. May even look for a used black one to go with my de-blinged theme.
