I know this is a very old thread but I'm just curious how you got a Honda shop to work on your big dog? Honda dealer here in Iowa wouldn't even give me the time of day when I wanted to talk to him about tires, he says we don't work on that kind of stuff go to the Harley shop, well you know what they charge at a Harley shop
Heck, the Harley shops around me won't even touch my Bigdog. Said they have a contract that doesn't allow them to work on them??? Luckily theres a local custom shop that use to be a Bigdog Dealer and Servce Center with a trained Certified Dyno Mecanic who is certified in the VFI system. Granted he claims not to be the best at VFI cause he hadn't had a lot of experience with it, but they have a dyno and he has mine running better than it has in years, granted I can't run short pipes on it like the FSD's.
If I go for a ride tonight it'll probably be one or 2:00 in the morning when it finally gets down below 80, now if you would excuse me I have to go flip that egg that's frying on the sidewalk

The Honda shop near me mounted my tires. Now I just took the wheel in with a tire. They mounted it and installed beads.

They have a mechanic who use to work on Harley’s. Plus with one of the largest mud parks at 5000 acres for side by sides and 4 wheelers 30 min from Shreveport they will work on any name brand . Some of these custom side by side people bring to the park and submerge are $45K - $60K and up!!

They have a mechanic who used to work on Harleys? That poor guy he's probably bored out of his mind every day from not being so busy wrenching on the Harleys. The only thing he probably does to the Hondas is change oil and tiresThey have a mechanic who use to work on Harley’s.
