AIM easy pull clutch

hey guys... anybody here have any experience with the AIM clutch? I'm talking the variable clutch kits for around $500...

The small amount of research I've seen makes it seem like the hot setup

I've had a variable clutch in my wife's Screemin Eagle Deuce for about 5 years now. It allowed me to put in a lighter clutch spring which made for a lighter lever pull. Yet it doesn't slip at all in the upper RPM range due to the variable clutch device.

Had to do this after bumping up the engine performance and the stock heavy duty clutch spring was allowing some slippage. Wife did not want the clutch pull any harder than it was and softer if possible. Normally you would just put in heavier springs or more disks but this worked out much better.

They are a slick unit but I don't think anyone makes a model that fits our Bigdog's.

With his bike being an 03 he will be fine with the HD style unit unlike us with the DSSC primary.

Sorry I missed that he had an 03. Your right, it should work fine in his bike. The only problem he may run into is the primary durby cover gasket center may need to be cut out for clearance if it isn't already.

The original factory gaskets from HD just went around the durby cover perimeter. Later, around 2004, they changed to a full coverage type gasket that caused clearance issues with the VP clutch until the center was cut out.
