Hello brothers. I have problems again and I need your advice. I was traveling on a motorcycle and heard a strange howling silent sound from the lower end of the right side. I stopped and after 5 minutes starts flashing oil pressure gauge. I immediately cut the engine. Engine oil Motul 7100 20w50 synthetics. Please tell me to which an oil line oil pressure sensor is connected? By supplying oil to the engine or to the oil return line to the oil tank? What can I do to diagnose? If I am have to disassemble the rocker kover and oil pump, a set of gaskets needed for the S&S 117 motor? How to determine which oil pump mounted on the engine? Big Dog Motorcycle ridgeback 2005, 117 S&S, carburetor.

Do you have oil in the oil tank?

Did you see any spills?

Oil sensor is near to the oil pump... not on any oil line.

Oil Pump has nothing to do with Rocker Covers..... why would you want to lift the rocker covers?

The oil in the oil tank, there are no leaks. The oil pump has 5 main holes. Top returns, top supply, bottom return, bottom feed, line equalizing the pressure between the oil tank and the engine. With the hole of the sensor takes readings? I want remove rocker cover and oil pump. Which set of gaskets fit? how to identify modification of the oil pump?

Hi guys. I removed rocker cover, removed camshaft. I saw a small scuff on the camshaft gear, but nothing critical. On the crankshaft drive gear oil pump moves a little from side to side along the axis of the crankshaft. This is normal? Can not remove the crankshaft gear on the right. How to properly pull off. The nut does not unscrew.
