Aftermarket rear turn lights?

i'm still looking for a rear turn signal for my 03 Husky. I see the one for $80 on the BDM site but i'm wondering if an aftermarket LED light would work.

there's these ebay ones for 60 bucks but i'd have to route the wires through the bolt hole.

has anybody had any luck with finding/using aftermarket signals? it has to act as a brake light too.

I'd like to find just a tiny led to serve as a brake light/turn signal if possible. I'd to get rid of the bullet housing although they are OK...

When I was rebuilding the dog, I rodded some LED's lights off of an old tomestone tail light. they had 3 wires each for tail and signal, but there wasn't much differants in brightness between the two, but it does blink. I ended up frenching a brake light into the rear fender, because I wanted it to be seen. nobody pays attention to signals anyway.

i did see a pretty cool set up during my internet search yesterday that would get rid of the bullets. i'll see if i can find the link again. If you end up getting rid of yours and want to sell them let me know.

@ Mr. Wright. mine also serve as the brake light so mostly i want to replace it for that.. actually to be honest its more for aesthetic reasons, one is broken off. its a new bike to me and i want to keep it stock (ish), my other bike i'm ripping apart and changing a ton of stuff.

it's kind of cool but i'm going to keep it stock until i get tired of it
