I should have done a better job shopping...I paid $60 for mine. I did pull them completely apart and loc-tite everything like previously mentioned by Chopper Dave (I think). I'll see how they hold up tomorrow, it is suppose to get in the 50's here so a few of us are going for a ride about 100 miles.

Yeah Shawn....thats what I did last year when I first got my mirrors...took everything apart..and loc-tite everything(Gas Man told me thats what he did on his also)....rode last spring ..summer...and fall...no problems so far....
$60 bucks isn't bad at all...that what I paid.....still a good price...

Mmmmhmmm. Lok-tite is key for these mirrors. Paid 60 bucks for mine too. Same mirrors that others are paying 180 to 200 bicks for. No problems to date.:2thumbs:

I think so , my bike is down at doug's right now so I can't go look and see. I have ness mirrors and I don't think I used any adapters. They should fit.
