I put on Arlen Ness Micro teardrop. I bought them thru someone else and got a better deal than right from Arlen(Arlen want $20 more). Look great, can't see shit behind me though.

Gas, how many miles did you end up getting on those mirrors? I have the same mirrors on the stems that have the 3 skulls on them. I have a little over 5000 miles on them and they still work good and look good. no problem with the chrome or anything. I got mine at JP Cycles.

Not to Piss on your Parade Gas Man, I've purchased the same mirrors years ago for another Bike, they are great as Long as you really Keep up on them,
Keep you eyes on the pivot points and the chrome, especially if you ride in a Buggy area, the acid from splattered Bugs eats through that chrome very fast. They are mass produced and although they look nice, I can tell you from experiance, won't hold up over time. It's the old, ya get what you pay for.

I bought the $250 Paul Yaffe pieces of shit and after 6 month of waxing them they bubbled up like some cancer struck them. I bought these copies for $70 and have had them for over 2 years and they look like the day I bought them.

Here are the copies:

Here are the Yaffe Originals "Power Mirrors" after 6 months:

Gas Man - do you have a model # for those mirrors. Pretty sweet mod - may want to be a bit of a copy on this one!

Those are great looking mirrors!!!

I generally keep my eyes on the mirrors at stops if nobody is behind me and if I have a car approaching I flash the brake lights if I'm not on a hill. The LED taillights on my bike are super bright and flashing them draws more attention.

I got a set from Demons Cycle for like $25, and they came with a video of some hot chicks building choppers. Anyway, I heard all kinds of bad things about these guys but I've ordered allot of small parts from them with no trouble. I only use one mirror, I have about 4k miles on it now with no problems, just gotta keep that pivot bolt tight, and I have an extra if this one fails!
