The tires could be replaced because they sat for so long and had a flat spot on them
OR... you can buy a frame from BDM Performance and build your chopper.

Roger that and thanks Tim. Bike was on consignment and had to put a healthy cash deposit to ride her. It was an 04 with a 117 not a 107 and I was impressed, it rode better than my 109!! But they would not budge at all on the price and I don't blame them much I guess as they had a bunch of folks looking at it and lined up to ride it. Long story short I ended up trading for an 09 Road King with some bells and whistles and chrome and low mileage. The desire to have a chopper is still there more so than ever after the test ride just going on the back burner once again for a period of time. So in the meantime I will stay here and get educated on Big Dogs until I am in position to buy one. Thanks for all the advice!!

I think that goes without saying but not looking for a chopper so people will notice me, don't really care if they like my bike or not, I did not buy it or will not buy it for someone else. With that said I drool all over other folks choppers too as I think they are fine looking machines. The chopper will be on my tank ramp some day, whether I try my hand at building my own or buy one built. The ride the other day cemented my desire to have one but I would like to get a good deal on a bike that I really like and know exactly what I am getting not just get a bike and take one in the ass on price. Like I said will hang out here and read the posts to learn more, maybe meet a few of the guys that ride choppers and when the time is right and money is there I will get one.Panzerman, you shoulda got the chopper, I bought mine 4 years ago and not one problem yet same setup with the 117 and all. no issues with the ehc as yet and I just want you to notice at runs how everybody walks past an entire row of hogs to stand and ask questions about our dogs and drool! just sayin.
