My back fender needs adjusting down, ON MY K-9 it keeps wanting to come up

Ha, ha lol. I wish I had some heffers to blame. Don't know what's wrong seems to be coming up off tire to much. The oil tank seems be off a little off. I bought my big dog k-9 a couple of years ago and love it. Haven't had any problems at all ever

you might want to check your shocks which are on the bottom of the bike underneath the frame just a thought

Yeah, shocks, but the alignment of the oil tank to the frame looks off, too. What the hell? Odd.

Yes it does look off judging buy oil tank....hummmm
to start with, that's not a K9, that's a Chopper. let's make sure what we got before we start throwing opinions out. that is an '04 like your info states, and that is a 250 and not a 300, am i right on both counts? everything that could go wrong with the suspension seems like it would cause the fender to end up CLOSER to the tire with no travel, not farther away from the tire?????????????????????????

Also after you check the shocks...under the seat are two tabswith four bolts. make sure the bolts are not broken or the tabs. According the pictures...your fender does look normal. The oil bag...does not.

Thank you too all. I've checked all bolts that go to the oil tank. They are all good. Shocks are all fine also. I think the swing arm is out of adjustment. Every thing seems to be good. How do you adjust the swing arm? Anyway I'm going for a ride in the rain. Thanks again to all my new brothers
the only connections for the swingarm are the pivot (1 point) and the shocks (1 point) allowing it to move. if it were the pivot, you would definitely know it, and if it were the shocks, the only thing that would add height would be air shocks. has to be in the fender mount if it is actually out of whack.

My first guess is did someone adjust the shock travel? Second is broken swingarm shaft maybe.Do you have a way to jack bike off of suspension if so jack rear wheel then slowly shake swingarm up and down check for movement.Did you want me to drive down and check it out for you? I live in cheyenne and I was the one you talked to about your bike at thunder mountain colorado this last weekend

Did you adjust your shocks to lower the fender to be closer to the tire? There are adjustsment but both shocks need to be adjusted as per thread lenght.My bet you went the wrong way making one shock longer or shorter than the other. We got our wires crossed between air ride and stock shocks at TM Harley call me Welcome to BDB
