Adding primary vent....

Just developed a primary leak from inspection cover...never paid attention before (because I never had a leak), but I do NOT have the vent hole in the rear primary cover. So, I went searching through our wonderful site...I found the following:

AWESOME information. Don't mind drilling a hole and tapping it from the trans side....but, reading through all of this, I have a few questions before I DRILL

1. Bunch of different sizes mentioned, any one better than the other? Smaller, bigger?

2. If I do this, what kind of pressure release fitting would i use and where would I get a SCREEN, and where should it be installed? Anyone have any part numbers?

3. I like Bigdogpros design in the above thread, but where would the screen go?

Any help from anyone who has done this effectively, would be greatly appreciated....

So, my choices are to go with original size which is: 10-32";
or 1/4"
or 1/8"?

Can't seem to find the 10-32" in nickel, silver or chrome though.....

Any suggestions on size?
