Added some lighting to the dog.

Found a set of turn signal boards that I do just what I was looking for. I really wanted to add lights on the front for safety and to see better at night but wasn't really into the whole fog light set-up. I ran across these boards that work as extra lighting when running and when the signal is applied they turn amber. Really like the system, and for around $80 I am very happy.









A few simple splices and all is good. :2thumbs:

The good thing is that since we already have leds you only have to change the connection. You don't have to have the resistor unit.

So whats involved in installing them. Do you have to cut any wires?

I cut the wires and soldered them together. Not a lot of room in there for connectors. Easy job though. 3 wires,( running, turn, and ground.)

Innovative and good looking but I think amber lights are required so that would make them illegal and a reason for the pigs to mess with ya, yeah?

Thanks for this info.....I received and installed mine today, easy MOD, and they look absolutely terrific. The white light is very bright, highly recommend these lights.

However, I do not recommend cutting your stock connector off. I stripped the wires on the new lights about 1/4 in, soldiered the wire to make it stiff and then pushed it into the stock connector then applied a little RTV to help insulate and keep it in place.
