Nope,,,no warning....just died as I was going down the road,just as if I reached down and turned the key off...no power at all and spedo pegged out.

I'm new to this forum. Have a '08 BD K-9. Read a blog that's two yrs old by Night Train. He advised that the builds preceding the '08 & '09 had the EHC problems and the later builds mostly eliminated the problem. This forum made me wise to the wire plus fix. Fortunately, with over 5K on the speedo, I have had only two somewhat minor problems: the inline connector nut on the clutch cable worked loose and the right hand PCB board sometimes takes three or four depressions on the EFI activator button to get the EFC to come on. I live in southern AZ and you do not want to break down in my neck of the woods in a remote area. I put it in the shop to replace PCB and Big Dog shut down. Anyone know where I can find PCB boards?

Good luck with that. You find some let us all know. Maybe the newly formed BDM Parts store for starts. ???
