That would be a no, no, and no.

Can't be a sticky. Gummy stays gummy. Show me the gummy, sticky, goo upon hot.
Can't be me having zero experience is think about the big C. Even a hot start are parts expanded making more compression. Are they the original? Bulletproof no less, right?
Can't be a mini valve hanging up or open via carbon. It's electric, yes? Nothing is going to hang up a magnetic field by the coil windings burning out, begin to wear out, but can't if it fires off hot. That means the coil triggering are within resistances to function properly.

There is engine ear.
There is noise ear.
There is parts here... the change out plugged up ear, is needing no ear to the idio.

We are back to nature and who needs how many pumps of creamer out the carb. Well, sounds like, sniffs like, seasoned right, I know if you are not due west, but dew east and that rich oxygen filled area? Bike is running too rich on the low screw sync or better known as 'idle lean drop,' I adjusted it twice by guess.

Summer time it took: full choke, instant off once lit off to find its IDIO or I'd drain the battery down.
Winter time: it takes no choke at all. Second found IDIO lights off like a computer bike... instantly fires off.

All parts work as per. We are at nature's mercy if we don't match AFR to battery drain... LOL

Signed,
Know your pumps in your morning cough he here at home does.

Money, bet me I can start that bike with one kick (cold)... once I know how many squirts out to blow up that one extra-extra pump of fire for a cold start flap a chino w/ice.

Having a similar issue this am. Bike started fine & warmed up in the driveway for 10.mins. Backed out, popped it in gear & it shut off. Now all I'm getting is clicks when I press the start button.....

Money,,, You might take the battery somewhere and get it tested. I was having a very similar problem, letting it sit for an extended period of time. The battery had 5 plus years service in the bike. started fine warm, but not cold. Took the battery out and had it tested.
starting with a reading of 13.1 volts, it dropped rapidly to 10.2 volts. new battery and starts like a new bike. Your bike=your choice, but the battery is a lot easier to pull and test than the starter.
