A public apology to BadDawg Bill

Just wanted to give a personal public apology to BadDawg Bill.
Say what you will about me, but I am a dumb ass sometimes and don't even realize it.

BadDawg and I have had a difference of opinion about something lately and we were asked by KnotSo to take it to PM which we did.
Well I answered KnotSo's PM and referred to BadDawg as an "Old Fuck" and didn't realize that BadDawg would see it too but he did and now what was just minor bantering has turned into me insulting BadDawg which was not my intent.

Its understood if you don't like me anymore or will not refer me or my company Bill but I do want you to know that I, in this instance, was most certainly a dumb ass and you did not deserve to be treated or referred to in that way.

My sincerest apologies to you Bill.

If I have insulted you during any of the posts I apologize for that also.

That's bullshit. I know I only been on here for a year but how is it a guy joins two months ago and every time he turns on his computer he is bashing Big Dog and he gets a public apology from a hard core Big Dog owner who is a long time member and has helped hundreds of us with parts and free advice to help us keep our bikes on the road? Bullshit.

I have to add my 2 cents worth here whether people like it or not!
I don't thing that Curtis should have given a public apology to Bill for words he said or wrote in private to a forum member/moderator. If anything, the apology should have been between him and Bill.The reply from Bill only confirms this.

Bill wants to convert everything that he thinks is not reliable enough on our Dogs and use Harley parts. We love our dogs and do not want to lose the handlebars and hand controls that are so typical for Big Dog! We love the difference and that is one of many things that make our dog different from Harleys. Curtis is doing everything he can to support BD owners and keep the original Big Dogs going the way they should!

I for one will not just watch or read and say nothin!
It is about our Dogs so it is in our best interest to support people and businesses
that look after us and the Dogs. :rant:

And not only that I think it is the right thing to do as well!

Paul, I agree one hundred percent. The whole thing was made public and is subject to comment.

One time BB Chopper called me an "Asshat." Another time he called me a "meatsack," and it was on my birthday.
He has yet to apologize.

Im a newbie here, but I too think Curtis took a high road!! Very professional as usual!! Rock on Curtis, this high road speaks volumes!!

And Bad Dawg Bill whom I have never had dealings with - well he accepted, laughed, and now and all is well in the Dog Pound!!

We all make mistakes Curtis. It takes an adult to admit it and apologize (as well as accept the apology and let it go).

Curtis is a great guy and a asset to this forum and the members that need his help. I am glad to see a peaceful settlement between the parties involved, and I am also a 'Old Fuck' with a very thick skin. You can't hurt my feelings by pointing out facts.
