Beyond going through the ole scooter last year getting it going again, going through several things as well. It has been covered up most all winter, I got it out the other day and remembered I never changed the transmission fluid last year even though I had got the Shaeffers 75-140 to put in it, I never did it. over the winter. I had changed it before at some point but did not rememeber when, but was unsure, really did not want to screw anything up too, so I got in touch with Tracy, whom I absolutely trust. He directed me through it, answered all my rookie questions, :) told me exactly the onces I needed, not to over tightened the set screw, things rookies need to know. Everything went flawlessly and I greatly appreciate his help. It is gettin some concrete time right now, me sitting on the concrete wiping it all down. It is ready to go now!

Awesome to hear you got it done yourself. It is pretty damn awesome to know some of these really smart & willing to share type guys on this forum. Knothead, Eric & Shannon being at the top of my list but so many others I see with great insight and knowledge on these bikes. I truly appreciate all their input whenever I have a problem I can’t figure out on my own. That’s why I’m happy to be a Supporting Member of this awesome site. Took my Ridgeback out today for the 1st ride in easily 6 months. Ran like a champ thanks to Knothead! Cheers to All! :chopper:

That running like a champ is one of the biggest reasons I realy like riding the ole scooter. I am retired now, and actually have time to ride. I am changing the oil in my Ex mark mower to Schaeffer"s 20-50 next time it gets changed. After seeing and feeling the difference in the scooter, I am 100% sure it will do great in my mower too.

Appreciate the kind word fellas...that what we are all here for is to help where we can to keep these bikes on the road.
I changed the Transmission fluid, no issues. I spent a couple days polishing everything up on it. Then I cover it back up and have been working on these' since. I have made 4 so far! Again Thank you very much !
