Hey guys just thought I post this and save some of us money and a lot. Of time. My Mastiff was acting strange lately it was not starting it was just clicking away but than it would start. I changed my battery and VR and it di the same thing. I thought it was the starter or solenoid. Well I was not about to change that so fast. I bent down and un be know to be I saw my ground wire that is attached to the bolt of the starter swinging in the wind. I snugged it up and boom it fired up. Man I'm so so happy. A fucking stupid thin like that.

I had a similar situation. Negative wire on the battery went loose. I guess it pays to go over the pup's wiring for stuff that's loosening up.

Good advice and thanks for posting....helps point to the importance of troubleshooting and knowing your bike well.
