I like the overall design and am fine with the miles you propose.

Also like the idea of getting all the patches upfront - if someone wants to lie about that they really need to get a life.

I would prefer "Mileage" "Mileage Club" or "Miles Club" instead of "Road Warrior"

And I don't want you to feel attacked or outnumbered cdogg556, my personal feeling is the lower patches get you motivated to reach the higher miles.

I don't feel like that at all Tim, I just was thinking about miles that are more realistic, most of these bikes will never see more than 20, 000 mi and it's not that they aren't motivated to ride, it's the time it takes to get there, some of us just will never have the time to ride that much, but whatever you decide is fine, I am just happy to see you trying to do something, thanks

I have no odometer. I estimate my mileage by tally marks on the wall of how many tanks of gas I've used.
My honor is good, but I don't think I will have any one questioning it.

I like the idea of every 5,000.
That way I'd be almost up to......5,000.


Why would you leave the old one on? I would remove the 5,000 and replace it with a 10,000 and so on....personally I don't wear a vest, so I would have to just staplegun it to my ole ladies forehead ....If she sees this I'm in deep caca :angry:

I recently rode cross country from Jersey to Arizona. At a fuel stop in Baird TX. I hit 30k on the nose. 200 or so miles later i had a rear wheel bearing fail....

I am glad you brought this up! I was wondering the same thing recently! What's up Tim? I guess not enough interest in it from everyone! I thought it was a great idea! Since I thought of it! Lol!

There is always someone to blame for us not being able to spend more time on the road.... wife? job? But NEVER OUR FAULT!!!

Mostly taking care of my dad and helping with his recovery. When I do get out on a ride, it's therapy for me. Clears the mind and recharges me.
