Sounds great. And what about the guys without original speedometer.?

I would be one guy that would appreciate the "honor system". On my second speedometer and had an entire season when my original did not work. I now remember that is why I did not participate in the first program...I could not certify the mileage.

Here is the plan I came up with, and will implement soon. I'll order the patches, and sell them as a set meaning you get all of the mileage patches at once, and it's up to you to sew on the correct patches. This keeps me from sitting on a bunch of patches, and you needing to order a new patch each time you reach a milestone.

Also, I think this will allow for different shaped patches to be used as they will be created at one time, and should fit together correctly, which was a concern.

I've got the shirts and coins to wrap up first, but I'll work on the design as time allows.

I like the basic design of the patch, would rather see it say "miles club" instead of "road warrior" and would still like to see it for every 5000 mi, just seems too far apart between miles and I think since your gonna do the honor system it's too far between miles and that guys will just put them all on and be done with it instead of waiting to reach the mileage they need to get another patch, very few of us will ever put those kind of miles on our bikes! Just my opinion

Every 5k is too much and too many patches. I'll copy BDM mileages. Maybe this could be incentive to ride more.

Anyone have the mileage intervals BDM used?

It was every 5000 mi, and I am sure if everyone could they would ride more, not everyone is as lucky as me to have great whether all year round!

Tim, I have the patches starting at 5000 through 15,000, I am pretty sure that's what they did.

I am not 100% sure but I think you may be right Michael, I just thought they went every 5,000 since that's what I have, but I am not sure what happened after 15,000 mi. Just seems like it's too far between miles from 15 to 25 thousand and especially from 25 to 50 thousand, but if everyone is ok with that then I guess I am out numbered!:lol:

I think the 5, 10 and 15k patches are an appeasement for those that don't rack up high miles on their bikes, especially the 5k.

I say just rode and the miles will just rack themselves up.

And I don't want you to feel attacked or outnumbered cdogg556, my personal feeling is the lower patches get you motivated to reach the higher miles.
