89 octane

[Sand Lap K-9]

Have not been able to find any premium fuel in or area for the last week, only regular unleaded and not much of that. Is it a good idea to buy octane booster and add to regular so I can ride or should I wait until premium is available? Thanks, SL

I've never seen anything showing that the boosters actually work. I think you'll be fine on 87, depends on altitude also. If you're high like me (5200') you can run a lower octane and get away with it.

you can use regular. if your riding double or riding it hard it may detonate, but just normal riding it wont hurt
