There is a slot and a hole. You just have to find the hole. The cup will move a little.

I wax my rear fender fairly regularly and what started out as hard-to-clean smudges where the suction cups make contact but now those smudges are starting to make the paint feel rough to the touch

I have a 2up seat.

I also have the solo seat but, similar to the stock pillion pad, if no passenger is on the pillion pad to weigh it down it will fly away
