I just changed out Postman's cam in his '08 K9 last week, it had a .546 as the stock cam and we changed to the 585. I sent S&S a e-mail and asked their advice on the cam swap before I ordered the cam. They advised me to go with the .585 if I wanted to keep the rest of the motor stock. Their advice was to shave the jugs, install roller rockers, change springs, and check clearance of the valve guides if we went bigger. Their input made up the Postman's mind, and his K9 also sounds great with a noitceable increase in power.
