Put an S&S 585 cam in my 08 Mastiff Thursday. Total out of pocket cost was $450.00 including an oil change ( parts & labor $300.00 and cam $150.00).Best $ spent on the Dog so far. Serious improvement in low- mid range torque. No dyno figures but obvious performance gains over stock. Feels like I'm riding a new bike! My mechanic likes the 590 Woods cam also but I chose the S&S because I know it bolts right in with no other issues.
Waiting for someone to dyno that cam over the 546 (which is what you had) , no spring change or comp. bump just with the pipes and air filter change of coarse.
