I would like some feedback from those of you that have gone to a 585 cam. Did you change to roller rockers or not? If not, would you change them if you were to do it over again? Do you experience extra noise with stock rockers?

Did the 585 change on an 09 k9. I did not change the roller rockers and have not experienced any extra noise. Except for the deep rumble that the bike makes now. Sounds Great and runs Great/

Went to a .585 and yes changed to roller rockers. Seems to be a little quieter.
It's more of preference in my opinion not necessarily needed. I can tell ya one thing is getting the tops of the rocker boxes off can be a pain...

I spoke to S&S for their advice on my choice of cams before I went to the 585 cam. They said that the roller rockers were not necessary so that was a hassle and expense that I did not have to deal with. No additional noise, just additional power and rumble in the pipes.
