Anyone have experience with the pully kit from barns? I bought it unused from a guy that sold his Dog before he could install it. It came with a shorter belt and it is stretching a lot! put less than 30 miles on it and has to be adjusted a 2nd time, are these good belts? It certainly looks less durable. It jumps teeth in first and second gear on hard acceleration. Has about 1 inch of play in it and I'm understanding it should be 1/2 inch? Any help would be appreciated.

I put one on Nimmis's bike and used the original belt. Adjusters were about at their end, but it worked. I didn't like all the short shifting.

Yeah 1/2 to 5/8 is good.....how do you like the 32 as far as 1st gear goes??? Im probably going to do it to the mastiff i got so its better for playing bikes games and running around at bike rallies

1" is too much deflection. You want 1/2" max at 10lbs force in the center between pulleys. You can pick up a tension gauge for about $15 to be sure. From experience new belts typically need tighten once or twice they will stretch some. Too tight is no good either

Measure at the top of the belt or the bottom of the belt?

You already got a 32 on that Mastiff and your Rigids, you could go down to a 30 or 29. Size changed to 34 on the RSD 05+
