Adding to mooncricket's question.. I currently get around 12,000 miles out of my regular 180 tire will the 300 get as much mileage? I've heard 300's get a little more. Also wanting to make my K-9 a daily rider. Thanks for your service mooncricket:flag:

is also depends on the tyre - for example, Metzelers do not apparently last as long as Avons, due to the softer compound

I have about 6k on my rear tire and I noticed last night the center has worn down a lot. I doubt it will make it to 10k. I check my tire pressure weekly and keep it at the recommended tire pressure.
Is this about the right mileage?

That would only be "normal" if you really get on it hard...

I had 9,000 before my blow out (caused by a bolt), and the tire had plenty of life...

I have 14,500 on my front...

I don't think I ride it very hard. I know tires wear faster in AZ due to heat
I thought I would be able to get 15K out of it.

I think the pressure is too high. I use a lot of nitto tires and if you inflate them to the recommended pressure the center wears down fast.
By lowering the pressure I can get 5-10k more out of them depending on the time of year they go on

I've got 6500 on mine and I'm into the wear indicators already. It won't be long and I'll have to replace it. Was hoping to get at least 8000 possibly 10,000 don't think its going to make it to 8000
