that would certainly be the easiest way

otherwise new seat, new swingarm, new wheel and tyre, new rear fender, all the drivetrain needs to be realigned etc etc etc

In the ways of this site and to be co-operative I'll give you a how to.

Take your 250 mm rear tire bike to the store. Go around back. Park about 15-20 ft from the all brick or cement wall. Now get off the bike with it running. Stand it up straight, make sure the front wheel is straight and pointing towards said wall. This is important for it all to work. Put it in first gear, rev the RPMs to about 5k, dump the clutch and watch the glory.

Now call your insurance, tell them you're an idiot and wrecked the bike doing a cool mod off the internet. They write you a check (might have been a good idea to verify full coverage first), you go to the dealership and buy another bike with a 300mm rear tire. And enjoy... till you figure out the new 08 ridge has a 330mm rear tire and you can repeat the process.

Now thats some funny shit!!!! I like that answer, I think I have done the similar stuff to my snowmobiles on it envolved trees. I figured it would be easier to buy a new one. I was going to get a new one but I couldnt pass up the deal on this one. Thanks again fellas.
