250 avon cobras

has anyone bought tire packages from ebay i have seen them anywhere from 300 to 350 for front and rear and wondering if there is any feedback for it and what do you think of the prices,also what does your local shop charge you to mount the tires??????

I paid $400 for just the 250 rear Cobra...$307 tire & $80 for R&R...

I bought a set from him...excellent tires. in fact they sent the new venom tread and I got them shipped to me in less than 7 days.

I would think that since avon just discontinued the venom and put out the cobra within the past 6 months i would not have issues with that whole tire date thing,but definately a great point

I guess I had them backwards. Which ever the new tread is that is what he sent me. All I know is the tread is different than what came with the bike.

I just priced out for my K9, seemed like a easy choice to me <shrug>.

I bought a front and rear tire for a 07 K9 off of e-bay. The rear was the new cobra avon tire. The place was in Myrtle Beach S.C. I paid $310 for both and $39 to ship to Pembina North Dakota. I live in Canada and went on a weekend trip to Minnesota and picked them up on my way back. After being state side for more than 48 hours did not have to pay any taxes or duties. The place seems to have combination set of tires for sale all the time.

If you are speaking of buying specifically from this seller...I think with over 132,000 feedback comments written and over a 99% rating... I would.
