I think I'm getting a hard on. It wasn't want I wanted in the beginning, but it's looking damn good. I can't wait to get it out in the sum tomorrow and see what it really going to look like. Shot the clear on, then gave it a coat of red frost. Still need to sand it again and shoot more clear.

Looks excellent Shannon, awesome job. :old2:

Looking good.
If you did not live so far away. I should have taken you up on your offer to paint my Harley when I laid it down.
Ps I still didn't get around to that yet.

At some point we might need to talk about you painting my CJ. Its going to be a solid color though and I know you love solid colors..haha.

I actually have all the supplies and paint just no place setup for it. I've used my buddies shop before but couldn't keep the dust down.

I'll put a flame in it somewhere.

Lets just say, I'm on schedule. I have a lot of aluminum to polish, seat to redo, tire to change, brake light to build. I still have the engine to paint and polish out. Intake gaskets to change, and a carb to rebuild. I'm sure I'll find something else to do to it also.

Haven't got much done the last few days. Polished a few things, fixed the sissy bar mount, ordered a new tire and few things from the Kaptin. Started cleaning up the engine. Repainted the jugs, and I had oil seepage around the cam cover, so I pulled it off and resealed it. Readjusting the valves now. I guess while I'm waiting on lifters to bleed down, I'll pull the carb apart and clean it out.

Got a little more done today. Intake o-rings came it, so I got the engine back together. Instead of repainting it black, I went with cast iron. I think I like it better. Next year, I'll rebuild it and get new jugs.

Got the fenders and tanks sanded and buffed out. Start working on the brake lights tomorrow.
