Love to see Big Dog back in production, and a 124 and 300mm is perfect, just not a fan on the old style primary, makes the bike too bulky looking. I get why, but love the look of my 05's. Still cant believe HD has never updated to something with more style, well I guess I can believe it!

Why not offer a Bad Ass Ridgeback? Second, if I can put a S&S 124 in mine why bother with a new K9. Third, there is no reason for lower compression. Just my opinion assuming we can still over opinions!
if anybody wants to replace their motor with raw power, talk to Kendall Johnson about his 300hp baggers. he probably could easily sell you a 124 with 200+ hp for your K9 or ridgeback or any other model. just have to replace the trans, upgrade to a chain from the belt, and a different exhaust. for somebody that could handle it, should be a blast.:old2::old2:http://www.baggersmag.com/videos/vi...unkies-kendall-johnson-customs-300-hp-baggers

People on this website have been pushing the values of low mileage Big Dogs down into the dirt from their constant complaints about design, reliability, etc. that they are virtually worthless today. Most can be sold for parts and bring in more $$. What do you think a 2 year old 2016 will go for? Maybe $17K? The cheap bastards around here will never pay for a new one. This new company is DOA.

I'm not sure I agree. If you think this sorry bunch of idiots we have in here drives the prices down I think you are mistaken. Most of us won't take the current prices to sell our dogs, we are not the ones setting the market its the new buyers. Sure some of us have bought other ones because we thought they were cheap.

As for your price of 17 in 2 years, I don't disagree with that value because that is what the chopper market is. It's no longer in "style" to the masses. Its still in style to us, so if anything I think we keep the prices bumped up as we aren't selling ours.

If you are going to buy a new dog and expect to get value you back that's a terrible financial decision on your part. Buy it because you want it and you have the money. If you want something to hold a better value buy a super nice used one for $14.

Oh and yes I won't buy a new call me cheap that's fine. I know I just can't afford it and obviously you must do a lot better than me. Congrats on that.

I do disagree! Would I/we have a means to do that we would have done it in large scale and bought them all! I would like to have a garage full of Dogs and never sell them. Hahahahahaa.
Like said here before, choppers are out of fashion for majority for now. We are a small minority of old farts with a brilliant sense of style! We do not move the market, nor does market move us. And That's the way I like it.

:old2::cheers: I don't know what you all are talking about, my bike is still worth 30K+, am I trying to sell it, hell no, do I want to sell it, hell no. Am I glad I got one before they went under, fuk yeah. After 8 years of owning it, every time I get on it I'm smiling, try putting a price tag on that. Are there bigger and faster bikes, hell yes, but I'm one kool Mofo going down the street riding it, and that my friends is what its all about.:chopper::old2::old2:
