This is a custom assembled motorcycle that I built this past year on a 2009-11 Big Dog Wolf frame for an individual that wanted a new Big Dog Wolf with a larger motor and a special paint color (and graphics) that were not offered by the Big Dog factory (Base Color: Metallic Blue w/Black Scallop Graphics). I worked for Big Dog from 2000-11 and I have built a handful of OEM specification bikes piece by piece, so the build on this bike is done to factory specification and done correctly with all updated Service Bulletins and Recalls taken into account. Since Big Dog closed in 2011, building a custom Wolf from scratch was the only option to fill the customers' needs for paint & engine. The engine on this bike is an S&S 132ci X-Wedge motor (the factory size was a 121ci). The transmission is the Baker 6 Speed Overdrive unit. With the exception of the larger motor, paint color and Custom Shark Skin seat, everything else on the bike is built to factory specs. The engine & transmission were purchased Brand New from S&S and Baker Drive Train in November of 2012 and still have 10 months remaining on a 2 year factory warranty. The bike currently has 8 miles on it. The bike was built with all new parts with the exception of the front end forks and triple trees which have roughly 1300 miles on them and have some scuffs on the sliders from being improperly transported (ratchet strap "chatter") when the rolling chassis was brought over to me to build the bike. This was the way the customer brought it to me, so it is what it is (bike is priced accordingly). . . The reason I am selling the bike is that the customer I built it for decided they did not want it due to relocation to Europe and they owed me a balance due, so I gave them a cash buyout offer and I have no interest in keeping the bike for myself. . . TITLE NOTICE: Since the bike was built outside the factory, it will be titled as a "Custom Assembly" (ASVE) and NOT a "Big Dog". It is a standard issued title by the state for 2014, but it will read as an "ASVE Wolf" (ASVE Meaning: Assembled Vehicle). The bike has only 8 miles on. I have plenty of pictures is you would like to see more. The bike is in Wichita and available for viewing most any time. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
