The company was founded in 1994, shut down in 2011. Started again with new owners. Site says there was no production for 3 years 12-13-14. I thought first new bike was in '16.

however it came into existence, their claim that it is a Big Dog is pure bullshit. would have to be titled as a one off custom build.

after the shutdown i remember seeing tons of rollers and spare inventory online. bike may have been assembled in 2014 but looks very familiar to me except for the bars, pipes and carb. oh and paint.

and i'm pretty sure the stamped vins in the neck of the frame tranny, motor and such might tell a different story.

Yea but if I buy a roller say harley davison and built a streetglide in my garage then it should be considered a special build not a harley streetglide

i hear you. agreed. all i'm saying is that 90+% of that bike is a bigdog pitbull. i see one everyday.
how old are the parts on there, who knows?? to me it looks very similar to my 08 and no way would i pay 27K.
there was a big surplus of parts on the internet for a while and it looks like someone is trying to capitalize on the original sticker price from when the bikes were being built by bigdog. it's a shitty practice and misleading.

all that said. i don't see a huge difference in 10 years time with the new bikes. bigger bore and chain drive but same basic styling.

Built in 2014 with an 08 pitbull frame. Doesn’t make it a 2014 bike!
My ridgeback build is an 04 frame and will be titled as an 04 ridgeback
