I'd like to share an email with everyone that Ivan sent me yesterday... I'm also waiting on the official press release.
Hi Tim ,
Been working a lot these last long months and just before news get out I wanted to inform you about following article appeared in AMD magazine November issue
At this moment we have not made an "official" release or statement yet but should normally follow soon by now :
Big Dog branded motorcycles may be about to make a come back, as a result of a deal being worked on by a former Big Dog Motorcycles and a former European representative. They are looking to license the brand name from the administrators of the former Wichita, Kansas BDM manufacturing business and under the "Kansas Motorcycle Works" name bring back bikes based on former Big Dog models. As with the chopper seen here, the first "Kansas Motorcycle Works" built model, there will be one model wich will be engineered to meet road going regelatory requirements worldwide. The first-of-the-kind S&S 111" softail style chopper, with a 250 rear end, is presently undergoing homologation in Europe, hoping to be able to make formal announcements in the next few weeks or months. The objective is to produce high quality bikes that are affordable and that provide owners with a canvas on which to design and customise the bike of their choices.
will update you with more news soon!
best regards ,
Ivan
