2010 Wolf 2-up Seat Opinions/Ideas Needed

Do what you can, but those style sheetmetal Prostreets bikes just aren't designed for a passenger or a 2-up seat, IMO.

Cutting down the front may have been a mistake. Have you ever sat on a folding chair that has the seat sloping downward in the front?

One beautiful bike though!

That is one good looking bike :2thumbs: On the show seat I would go all out. The tan color with tooling would look cool

Tan seat (Top right) looks like the passenger will constantly be sliding towards the front of the bike.

Black seat (Bottom right) looks to be more comfortable for the passenger.

For a show seat I would use the solo black. The tan is too bright and your focus is changed to the seat not the paint.

Yep...good feedback.

IMO, the seat is roughly 2" too short in the rear as the rider sits at the "12:00" position of the rear tire due to the postion of the clevis (5'5" girlie). So, there is a bit of room between the driver/rider coupled with the fact this is basically a king/queen set-up. Initially, the girlie didn't like catching the wind and preferred the Ridgeback (sans the suspension situation). So while that extra foam didn't provide a nice ledge, it's mostly over-engineered.

This is what I'm going for. Not functional for the passenger for the long haul, but that's why I'm keeping the other 2-up. You'll need a HOT girl on back when riding with the 2-up seat because the stock set-up is terrible. I'm hoping this might bridge the gap. 90% I'll be riding it solo, yet have options if an impromtu passenger jumps on.

I have a Paul Cox custom seat on my 2010 Wolf and I still have the stock seat which I love to death.
I also have a SaddleMan Leather custom seat that I had bought & used before the hand tooled Paul Cox seat was installed(Got it from Vince @VS Customs too-along with a few other goodies)
Personally I dont like the 2-up seat , but if you've got a significant "other" girlfriend, wife (or mistress:D) than you'll need a 2 up seat -and as long as it's a low profile unit it'd look ok .:2thumbs:

Any pix to share?

Did Paul use an existing BDM seat pan, make one from scratch or does he have a standard size which fits the Wolf?

Agree. I use my solo seat 90% of the time. With this new set-up, I hope it's around 50/50. We'll see.....

The Pic in the top right doesn't look comfy, although she said it was. So I guess you are okay.

Obviously the solo seat is the show stopper. But if you must have a show 2 up seat, that slimed downed version looks okay. As Sterling said above, give him a ring. I'm sure he could come up with something.

I would shy away from a gel seat for the gal as I assume it wouldn't last long with little to no support. If your going all show, no need for saddel gel anyways! Also it ain't cheap.

Still interested in seeing that Cox seat above! :)

Here's the finished seat. Johnny talked me out of doing it all low profile wrap without a seam. I'll take photo of the seat/pad/bag once all mounted and its sunny outside.....

I need a seat in black just like yours in this picture, I think it looks great. Could you please give me phone number of maker Thanks murf

Just sent ya a PM.

Custom Motorcycle Seats Hand Tooled Leather Harley Seats- Roberti Customs

I also had a sissy bar pad and bag made by Johnny. I could talk to that guy for hours. Defintely need to make a trip to buy him a beer at some point.

On the flipside....I'm pretty sure he's the slowest in the business - but probably prefers it that way. :)

I'll post more pix of the other stuff, on the bike, in the next few days.
