The bike is still for sale..yes unless he sold it in a day.

This bike has been in a few owners hands and whoever ends up with it is lucky to know it's story. It's documented in this thread and it's neat that it keeps getting circulated when it goes up for sale in my opinion.

Been meticulously maintained and hardly ridden. Just seems that whoever owns it has something come up for one reason or another none of which pertains to the bike specifically.

As far as I know she was born in Kansas then went to washington state for a spell and then back east to Walton, ky for a few months were I found her and brought her to suffolk va. Kept for a year or so and sent to pa. And now looks like she's back on a westerly course bound for parts of texas.. I hope doc can keep her for awhile. It was probably close to the best looking bike that I have owned.

Think the moral is don't go to PA

Yup.. that's why I let her run for a few minutes longer then normal with the choke on assuring I got all of my neighbors undivided attention!!

if you are talking about that lever on the side of the carb, that is NOT a choke. it is an enrichener, it dumps raw gas straight into the carb. only to be used when nothing else works and shut off when the motor starts or you will be fouling out plugs and running like hell, if at all.

That kinda got me to wondering. Just how would one go about finding the history on one's bike, like, who had it, what has been done to it ,where it's been, etc. I saw my pit on Youtube, posted back in 2011 saying it was located in Bountiful Utah. From there, who knows?

No sir.. I dont think we r referring to the same thing.. this is my choke on the super g carb..
