May as well get a geezer glide! Seriously I don't like it but I am sure some do. To each his own. I think BD is going after the bagger croud.

It is a Rubber Mounted Engine! For those of you that know the Old School Big Dogs it is not the first time that BDM has had rubber mounted engines. The Old Boxers I know used to have rubber mounted engines. When I am at the Shop I will figure out what the MSRP is. As soon as I get some real pictures of this faring I will post them! I too am just as excited to see this machine as all of you.

In the sales industry a lockable hard bagger option would be awesome! If one is able to remove the bags in a short time that would be an added plus!

Thanks for more photos! I'm also very anxious to see this bike WITH its fixed fairing. I'm at the top of my H-D dealers list for an '09 orange & black CVO Screamin' Eagle Roadglide coming in April/early May, but IF this new Dog turns out to be really awesome, I might consider dropping the Roadglide and going with the Bulldog.:whoop:

Otherwise, I'm sticking with Harley's '09 CVO Roadglide, which is a pretty cool bike itself. If you haven't seen one...here's the link:

Still no pictures of the new Bulldog bagger WITH the fairing on it? :loony: :bang: This thing's supposed to be on dealer showroom floors in a month! Surely somebody's got something on it..maybe the "new bike paparazzi"? I know...I bet Big Dog came up with a new paint called "Stealth" and the finished bike is actually there...we just can't see it!  Gettin' antsy to see this new bike - anyone else?!:whoop:

To my eyes, the Bulldog is the best looking bagger ever, with or without the fairing. In an ideal world, I would have one sitting in my garage next to a
K-9. Someday...

Why spend $31,000 for a cookie cutter HD with that little motor in it, whan you could buy a BDM for not alot more and get a complete custom.

Yes, I'm coming around to your way of thinking. I love my '05 Big Dog Chopper and will choose it 9 times out of 10 over my "Screamin' Eagle" Harleys to ride. The Big Dog is just more fun, plain and simple:whoop: ...always chomping at the bit, ready to "giddy-up and go!" The 117" S&S is a much better engine than Harley, in my opinion. And I'm hearing Harley's still got issues with their 110" CVO engine running extremely hot, with noisy valves, etc.

Last but not least...there's no comparison in the "wow factor"...it's just not there with Harleys anymore, for me anyway...and I've owned various Harleys for over 25 years now.

So, I'm 90% sure a new Big Dog's the direction I'm heading. It would just be nice to see the final product to eliminate that 10% gap of uncertainity. And even if the bagger doesn't do it for me, my fall back plan would be new EFI K9 w/chrome package and set up for sport touring. My goal in 2009 is to get back to just one all-around FUN bike in my garage, for economic and time constraint reasons..among other things.

I wish I had more money.
The latest issue of Barnett's has a small write up in it and a few tidbits on the fairing.
