The tech told me today that there was a tsb for a O-ring behind the clutch pack on the main shaft and that it needed to be removed but he wouldn't show  me a copy of it. Just wondering if anyboby has had a problem with this? The reason i ask is he said it was a "CRUSH" type o-ring and that didn't make any since. My clutch hub nut came loose  and im in the process of repairing it and useing RED Locktite to secure the nut in place. PLEASE any advice on this would be helpfull. I also picked up a 2008 shop manual and there was nothing in there about it Granted i no that they don't put TSB"S in the shop manual but the o-ring is a seal or fluid holder and a crush ring is to set a distance like a shim. Please i'm ready to install the clutch hub nut but just hitting you all up for some info on this first. Thanks much!!!!!!

This has happened to a lot of us on different 08 models (clutch hub nut coming loose) There are a lot of threads on this subject. Main thing to do is make sure everything is very clean during reasembly so the locktite gets a good bond. Very easy repair.

Right on the money

I would like to  SAY A BIG THANK YOU :2thumbs: to those members that helped with the info on the clutch hub nut. I got a 08 service manual from the dealership and did my own work. I been useing tools for some years now so with the warranty now void figured i better do it myself so theres no one to blame if it goes wrong. But i followed all the info and my dog has never shifted so nice. I REALLY BELIEVE IT WAS WRONG FROM DAY 1.....no slipping,i find 1st with just a bump and no leaks whatsoever....Thank you to all who replied
oh, these are "MY OLD TOOLS"
