2008 Pitbull Spring seat

Anyone know how the new seat on the 08 Pitbull actually attches to the frame? Would b a nice mod to a rigid. Any 08 pitbull owners who could supply pictures of the seat and frame attachment hardware? Would like to see if it would work before ordering one from BDM.

08 pitbull has 2 small shox between the seat and the frame.

That back portion of the frame where the shocks mount is dropped alot more than the other BDM models to acommodate the height of the shocks.

I see where you're going with this and was thinking the same thing when looking at the new ridgeback the other day next to the pitbull. You'd have to make a cover for the battery area and I'm guessing on that cover (have to be metal) you could attach the brackets for the springs. I know you can get the seat/springs on ebay as a generic setup, my buddy just got a setup for his Flyrite bobber and they work great...

I did see the post with the springs added from the shop in vegas. They look almost exactly like the ones on the new 2008. The post above about a lower dropped frame may be very true. I was just looking for a softer ride on the rigid. I know, I'm week!

I just do not like any of the seat on this website. All way to thin for me. I do like the new 08 Pitbull seat and shocks. Would be nice if it was an easy addition to older pitbulls.
