Leaving it all behind
I am having my second issue with EFI fuel pump. 1st time it quit I took to the BDM authorized repair shop and of corse their solution
was replacing it with a another OME pump for $600.00. Wanting to avoid the expense I am looking for a technique to verify if my pump
is any good using my multimeter or if I should look for other causes. Tell me what you think.

There is Schaefer valve under the tank where the fuel line attaches, you can attach a gage to it. Number one issue is debris in the pump. If it sounds noisy or odd, probably has debris in it. At key on it should cycle for 2 seconds then turn off until it’s running.

it’s a Walbro pump, you can buy them for ~$100.
