As some of you have read, Big Dog had an across the board 20% pay reduction and as many of you know I work there so now I'm forced to reduce some of my expenses so my new (to me) Road Glide I bought a couple of months ago along with my airplane trailer are going to have to go away right away.

The Road Glide has about 28,600 miles on it and is in absolute perfect condition. I have just dumped about $2,000 into the air cleaner, race tuner, exhaust and windshied plus getting it dyno-tuned just before Sturgis. The only thing wrong with the entire bike is the radio will go blank but it still plays just fine. I was going to pull it out when i got home from Sturgis and send it in to get fixed but then I got told I was making less money. The bike is running 84hp and 100# of torque. It has the S&S SPO Oval slip ons on true dual headers which gives it a nice mellow sound. It also has a great Corbin touring seat and comes with a set of the slip in bag liners that work great for taking your stuff into the motel. The tires are Metzler ME880's that were new when I got it and it also had a full service the day I took delivery.

I'm asking $13,900.00 for it which is $1,000 below my reserve on eBay and about $2,000.00 less than I have invested.

Also I have a nearly new 2008 Continental Cargo 6 X 12 trailer with the ramp door and a side door that I bought in May of 2008 to haul my giant scale radio control airplanes in. It has had 1 plane in it 1 time for a 250 round trip and my friends motorcycle 1 time for a 200 mile round trip. The trailer had been pulled less than 600 miles total. There is absolutely no damage anywhere. I'm asking $2200 for it which is $1000 less than I paid for it last year.

Thanks for looking, if you have any questions, PM me or call me @ 316-727-6076

Thanks:
Scott

Showdog -- messed up deal for ya buddy and sorry to hear what's going on. If I had some spare bucks I'd jump on both of those. I'm sure they'll find a good home.

Best of luck for a speedy sale...

Sorry to hear about the pay cut. Sounds like some good prices on your toys. I'm sure they'll sell quick. Good luck

If you can bring me the trailer in So Cal next time you come, I have $2000 here for ya.
Well if you were somewhere between Halifax, Nova Scotia and Kansas I could deliver it this weekend. I'm going to use it to take a new Bulldog Bagger up there for a show so I don't have to use the semi or pull one of the big trailers for 1 bike. Unfortunately I don't think I would have any way to get it to SoCal. It's a little too big to get in my big trailer and the DOT might have a thing or two to say if I were to try and pull it behind.

Show, really sorry to hear about the pay cuts....I know it sucks to have to get rid of the toys.
Hopefully you will be able to get better ones soon....

Wish I had the extra cash as well.

My boss hit me with 20 percent cut at the begining of the year. I was hurt and pissed but after thinking about quiting for 2 weeks I realized there were lots of people who weren't given they option to take a reduction. They just lost their jobs.

I sucked it up like you are and I am so glad I did.

My thoughts are with you Show and I am sure they will remeber the ones who rode the tough times out with them.
