Nice
I already have a 1952 F1 flathead
Truth be told, I’m a die hard ford hater, but this was back when all of em were about equal as to why I got it to give it a try and the first year of the Y-block V8.. truck has been in my life since I was in middle school and met my best friend. It was his dads.. talked him into selling it to me and haven’t had time to do anything with it and it just takes up space in my garageimage.jpg

Nice mess!) What's so bad about Ford? I used to have F150 XLT 2012. It was a great truck, had no issues, it took me around the country including Oman and Saudi. Spacious, powerful V8, and XLT has lots of leg space. I am thinking of getting a Raptor of the same (first) generation. Will hold though till autumn to see where all this shit, that is happening around the region, goes.

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
My first car was a 1951 Ford Victoria (first 2 door hardtop) ‘shoebox’—flathead V8. Primer black bullnosed and lowered to the frame with straight pipes. I was the scourge of the neighborhood. Paid $35 for in ’62. Burned up the engine in 3 months…haha. I still love the sound of those flatheads firing up!

So ford back in the day was just like everyone else as to everyone else was just like too… after about 99 or so they just went to complete trash… more on the diesel side of things, there normal engine vehicles are okay aside from the trash triton 5.4…

I would say you are getting in the ballpark for a decent sale price on your K9. I seen this one on marketplace here in Florida. Thought I would share it just for reference. Have you posted yours on Facebook Marketplace? I’m pretty sure you would find a buyer there. Best of luck with it!

i am seeing these bikes in seemingly great condition on marketplace for well under 10 - But, one thing to keep in mind is that this is an '07 (no TP heads) And it's been hardwired so I hope he gets the 10 he's asking for it but with almost no interest in bikes at all from anyone under 40 and people interested in bikes either dying of old age or unable to ride due to old age, well you get the idea.

I for one would love to be on this bike but I have several obstacles, other than $ holding me back:
- I'm in Western PA and this is not a safe place to ride (driving style, road condition etc) compared to when I was in DC
- I need the space in the garage for my workshop since I'm trying to bring the manufacturing of my products from Pakistan to the US (in other words me makingthem) and I'd want a bike like this garaged.
- I've always disliked the stock primarys the BDM used after '04, I much prefer the bubble style over the punched in hole style and if I'm going to change it out I'd want to go belt-drive but that's another expense.
- I'd have to spend another $1k to either wrap it or paint it w an American flag theme. I see these on the older BDMs but for some reason on the K-9's I don't think I've ever seen a flag-style paint job
- I've always wanted to do a cross country ride, already moving to PA somewhat negates than vs DC but for this I'd basically be riding back up from Texas, anyway just thinking about it on the keyboard
