Can you be more specific? Do you have a carburetor or is it fuel injected? Does it turn over? Does it make any sound ( like a click when you hit the start button )? Do you know any history on the bike ?
hello yes light comes on but sound like not in off juice from battery the battery on it is 310 cca.i order new battery with 480 CCA and waiting to replace it? Sound like clicking or trying to fire up after few try just hear the click.thank you for the help07 K-9 is carb, no EFI till 08 on K-9
Is the battery fully charged now?
I once left mine in the trailer and forgot to turn it off -- killed that battery in a hurry.
Do any lights come on? Anything flash?
The more detail you can provide the better the chances we can help -- tell us EVERYTHING. Things you take for granted can matter and we can't see what you did or are doing.
I charged the battery full and starts right up when i turn it off wont start..thank youwas the "new" battery charged before you installed it? hate to say it, but sometimes new batteries ain't worth a shit.
OK charge the battery up again and get a voltmeter. Read the battery voltage when its charged and not running, start bike and read voltage, takew the RPM up to about 2500 and read the voltage.I charged the battery full and starts right up when i turn it off wont start..thank you
Thank you mike i will today,OK charge the battery up again and get a voltmeter. Read the battery voltage when its charged and not running, start bike and read voltage, takew the RPM up to about 2500 and read the voltage.
It sounds like you might have a charging system issue.
Hi Tim thank you for the infoHey Tony I agree with Jersey Big Mike it does sound like you have a charging issue. I'm not sure what your skill set is but there is a circuit breaker which can be reset in the system. If your bike reads the same voltage running as it does not running that would be the first thing I would check. This attachment may help you. https://www.dropbox.com/t/RX62AVX1ZdJh08vF
