I broke the jack shaft on my starter. Anyone know where to get a new jackshaft or new starter outer then big dog there out of stock. there must be a HD part that will fit a BigDog

DUUUUUDE save your money just take your starter or shaft to any automotive altenator/starter shop and they can match the jackshaft. The shaft is common to many automotive starters. I paid $10 for mine when it broke.

I second what those above me said. Also as far as a complete starter,no there is not a harley part that will work. As you have an 07 you have the Baker DSSC primary which requires a special starter. Internal parts might be possible that there is an hd part that would work.

You can replace the jackshaft if you want, but I'm sure you'll find a host of other issues when you crack your starter open. Send it to Wild Steed Worx you won't have to worry about your starter for a long, long time. Extremely thorough and knowledgable. Their service is second to none!
Pulling the starter is not that hard. Pulling it again sucks. Just my .02 cents.
