Think I'm having the same problem I got plenty of volts on the battery but it doesn't want to crank over cranks once and then stops. Was pretty easy to buy and install the r R.I.P kit..?

Yeah I was just trying to figure out if it was something else before I drop the $700, just seems like I'm not getting any fuel it Puffs Smoke out of the air cleaner backfires doesn't seem to be a lot of fuel inside, had my injectors cleaned beginning of the season shouldn't be that but who knows

A follow-up I replace voltage regulator, the stator, and had a rebuilt fuel pump installed, wires tightened up. Bike seems to be running good, although yesterday it seemed to die out when I got the RPMs a little higher but it was my first day riding it so maybe just has some bugs just wanted to let everybody know thanks for all your advice and help
