Thx and yup having issues with the pcb board on the right side to start the bike . Seems I have to turn it off and on a few times to get it to work. Can only one side be purchased ? (Right side)
Thx again thought it may be my wires plus system I had put on the bike

If I remember correctly and I usually don't, some have put a piece of electrical tape behind the rubber button and this has helped temporarily.

Unfortunately the manufacturer is only selling the boards as complete kits now due to low volume.
However, WSW does offer pcb board repair services for $45 plus return shipping. This service is only for the newer style button type boards.
If you have the older strip type boards your better off replacing them anyway.
Its likely all it needs is a good cleaning and replacement of the optical tape.

Nick_13 the kit comes with a new harness that connects to exist JST connectors for handle bar switches, ignition, directionals, license plate, speedo etc. Their is no software to come with it. Install it, Plug it in and go riding. Very simple.

G'day IronHorse57001,

Thank you for your feedback. Thats great to hear your up & running again & most importantly happy with the new setup.

I have not installed the new kit yet, but instructions say to remove tank and replace back harness.....also may need to remove starter. The unit fits in the same holes as the old EHC, so no modifications needed. Sort of old school way of wiring.....I like this.
Fixem, it's easy to do. I by means are more than a backyard old school mechanic. My technical background in null, no issues and as a bonus the bike runs perfect. The directions are easy. I hope this helps, just take your time.

Well.....did the EHC swap out in a weekend. A bit more of a mission then originally expected though. The back harness did suck to replace, and pull through under tank. Pretty much rewire entire bike, pulling most all harnesses apart and reconnect to new harness. When complete, the main controller/module sat too hi for seat installation, had to take back apart, remove battery holding tray, and modify. For my 2008 Ridgeback I had massive reconfiguration, but as said before, I am a mechanic by trade with welding capabilities, shop, etc. I think my bike would have been a very expensive job to take to somebody to repair! I enjoyed the process because I was able to bond with my bike and see what makes her tick. but with modification needed. The bike now starts every time without hesitation :chopper:EHC Removal.jpg
