06 Ridgeback w/10840miles little noisey but not that bad. I would like to try the S&S type just to see if there's a big difference. How much are the S&S boxes?

tp's no problems as of yet. 13k on her.

I had TP covers for 12k and the motor blew to pieces. Valve broke in rear cylinder and went into lower ends. Fortunatly I had an extended warrenty and it covers most of it but it has been 6 months and bike is still in shop.

06 k9 i had tp rocker boxes

my k9 came with tp rocker boxes i changed them out to the s&s rocker boxes

Have S&S with 8000+ miles but previous owner has exhaust valve guide on front cylinder changed due to excessive noise and wear.

06 K9. Came stock with TP boxes but didn't care for the "streamlined" look, nor the slight noise difference. Switched back to standard S&S. No complaints with TP. Just a personal choice.

I've got 7,500 on the TP boxes. Got the bike with 1,900 miles almost a year ago.

some people have had bad issues with them.. misalignment... causing valve guide wear,,, then possibe valve breakage.... do a search.. its covered alot.. S&S are the correct set up.. there was a recall on them I believe or @least a service bullitin..

I have T.P. covers. My brothers has S&S. Whats the difference. I get the vibe that S&S must be better? I'm not a motorhead so I guess you all can educate me if you like

TP's on my 06 Mastiff manufactured in Nov 2005, 3500 miles and no problems so far.
