I have a 2006 Mastiff which I purchased during the winter and started for the first time this year. After a rough start it ran for about 3 min. before it stalled. The bike would then crank and not turn over. After an hour on the tender the headlight comes on, the dash is lighted but the oil light stays on and I am now getting nothing when the start button is engaged. I have placed it on the battery tender and was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue?

I would start with an introduction, I see that the intro police has already flagged you his cop lights on.

Next get a new battery from Mad Dog he is a member on here as well as an approved vendor. He currently has a Braille Battery Group buy going on. Braille is one of the preferred Batteries for the Dogs. Next disconnect your fuel hose from the petcock on the tank drain the old gas and get fresh gas in there. You don't know the bike yet so why not a new set of plugs to go with the new Battery and fresh Gas. If that don't get you going it could be something else.

BTW the Tender is good but a battery charger (24 hour slow charge) works best if your battery is new and just run down. If not new replace it.

Welcome to the Pound :2thumbs:

on the top of the carb, right next to the air cleaner cover, check to make sure the enrichener lever is pressed all the way down. what this does is put lots of raw fuel into the carb. the fuel will foul the plugs and keep it from firing in turn it will run the battery down real fast.

good luck.
