Don't worry about the "troubles". It's just a motorcycle (damn nice looking, though); shit breaks, just ride the hell out of it and do your maintenance, keep the surprises to a minimum. Congratulations.

Congrats on the new bike!
I have an 06 that I bought new and have had nothing but problems with it. Motor blew to pieces at 12 k, fortunately I had an extended warranty but it took 6 months to get the motor replaced and less the 6k on the new motor started having valve problems. Air suspension constantly leaks and mount for it broke twice. Rotor buttons on rear rotor all fell out and lost brakes and now the EHC has taken a shit so it is down again. Bike has been a real pain in the ass.

Sorry to hear prodriver has had issues with his , but I have 31K miles on mine, original motor, same rotor buttons, original EHC thus far and still going strong. I did have my driveshaft/transmission snap which is well known to happen but Baker rebuilt my transmission and that was under warranty back in 2010 i believe. 4mcrue..If you need help with maintenance, there are plenty of posts and fellow riders here on the forum to help you with that............Ride Safe!
