2006 K9 not charging

I have a 2006 k9 that doesnt seam to be charging, I was wondering if there a way to check the power coming out of the alternator, or fuses/fuseable link. Any information will be of help.

Joeoro, did you check voltage at the battery terminals with bike running? Should have been around 14 VDC.

I checked the battery, prior to start it show 12.50 the drops after start up,... never returns to before start up voltage, voltage increased after shut down. I don't know how to check the voltage regulator, just pulled my off and it is a 05(falls under the recall) what are my chances of getting it covered and by who
