Since you're being polite instead of just telling me to go fuck myself, I'll explain. Your first post should be an introduction, where you can tell us a little about yourself and your bike, your reasons for selling, etc. That way we know at least a little something about who we're dealing with, and we may take your offer a little more seriously. Think of it this way-if some random guy knocked on your front door and asked you if you wanted to buy his motorcycle, I expect you would simply shut the door in his face. But if you at least knew the guy, you may be willing to listen to his pitch. This is our front door you're knocking on, so please introduce yourself.
I'm usually not the "intro police", so sorry for the sarcasm, I haven't had enough coffee yet. Good luck with the sale.

Okay. I've had my own bike since 1989, a 1981 Sportster/Roadster. I rode my first motorcycle when I was in fourth grade. I have a 1998 Road King Classic I bought new in 98, and I still have it. I bought the K9 new in 2006. It's hard to maintain two bikes. I'd like to have just one bike from now on, so I'm selling the K9 and RK eventually too. I'd like to have a new RK and get back to more travelling, what I love.

Well done, K9Cat, good luck with the sale, too many toys equals too many headaches. I like both your dogs, I think I have it's litter mate down here. Meet Otis, a gender-confused bitch that pisses and fights like a male.

Nice. I adopted Slick from Stray Rescue of St. Louis. She was a feral dog. I've spent the last 1.5 years working with her and training her. She's turned out to be the best pet. I love her to pieces. We're still working out a few issues. We go to group training today at one.

Yeah, same deal here, mine was a feral stray too, I must work with her every day or her tendency to dominate other dogs and kill cats, etc., becomes irrepressible. 5 years now. Anyway, let's not turn this into a "dog" thread, or you'll never sell the K9.

I wasn't napping, well yes I was but I did already see this... thing is I couldn't be bothered with it as I thought it was just a Hit & Run Thread.... :oldroll:

Here K9Cat, you can do a proper Intro HERE if you like.
